All Seasons Workforce Australia is seeking dedicated Orchard Farmhands to join our team, servicing multiple orchards in the Shepparton and Mildura regions. As specialists in labour hire services, we collaborate with various orchards to ensure their labour demands are consistently met.

Job Description

• Orchard Maintenance: Perform comprehensive maintenance tasks, including spraying, weed control, pruning, mulching, thinning and side slashing between trees, to ensure optimal orchard health.
• Harvesting and Packing: Assist with fruit picking, packing, and other packhouse duties to maintain quality standards and meet production targets.
• Equipment Operation: Safely operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment as required for various tasks.
• General Farm Duties: Undertake additional tasks as needed to support overall farm operations and productivity.

What the job requires

• Experience: Previous experience in orchard or farm work is preferred but not essential; training can be provided.
• Physical Fitness: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions.
• Flexibility: Willingness to work variable hours, including early mornings, evenings and weekends, especially during peak seasons.
• Transportation: Reliable personal transport to commute to different orchard locations in the Shepparton and Mildura regions.
• Team Player: Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.

Work Hours

• Weekly Hours: Anticipate working beyond 40 hours per week during peak seasons, with standard hours during off-peak periods.
• Shift Flexibility: Be prepared for variable shifts, including mornings, evenings and weekends to meet operational demands.
